Leah Kateb’s Journey on Love Island USA Season 6
The show Love Island USA Season 6 came to a close in quite a dramatic manner. At the end of the final, the last four pairs recovered their phones. Leah Kateb, one of the finalists and the runners up, plays a segment where she tells her life story using Taylor Swift songs; thereby confirming she is a Taylor Swift fan. Leah said that lots of Taylor Swift’s songs were beneficial to her when she was on the island.
Leah was also among the first Islanders to make it to the finals with her partner, Miguel Harichi. She first teamed up with Rob Rausch but they had a very dramatic story and then they split and are just friends now. JaNa and Kenny Rodriguez ranked the second, behind Leah and Miguel, Nicole Jacky and Kendall ranked third, behind JaNa and Kenny Rodriguez. For the season, Serena and Kordell were crowned the winners and boy did they receive their $100,000 cheque.
Leah Kateb’s Love for Taylor Swift
Upon receiving back her phone, Leah went to her Instagram account and in the Instagram story posted the following message, “Just got my phone back. I love you guys more than you could ever know. Nothing could have prepared me for the love that was waiting for me outside the villa.” She recorded her message with the music from ‘You’re on Your Own, Kid,’ by Taylor Swift in the Midnights album.
Leah also said Taylor Swift in another story and informed her fans that she listened to Taylor Swift songs and they got her through Love Island. She posted, “Plz go tell @taylorswift she got me through my entire Love Island experience,” and published the song “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” from The Tortured Poets Department.
Leah also reshared a fan’s video that compiled her and Miguel’s journey to the song “Slut.” Sharing it, she wrote, “Wow, if you know me, I was singing this song the entire time in the villa💕💕This is everything 💕.”
Leah Kateb and Rob Rausch’s Drama on Love Island USA Season 6
Leah and Rob were in love in the initial days of Love Island USA Season 6 and were close to each other. However they separated when Andrea Carmona joined the villa and Rob decided to pair up with her instead of Leah. A few days later it was competencies event where the ladies have to vote one among them out of the villa and unfortunately, Andrea lost the chance and she was ejected from the villa.
Rob under Team Captains’ decision eliminated Andrea citing Leah’s influence and Leah was upset and complained about Rob’s decision to partner with her. However, at the end, Leah started a relationship with Miguel. Later on, she said sorry to Rob for what she had done to him in the past. Leah and Rob went off on a civil note but their drama was somewhat entertaining to witness. As the show comes to an end Leah had formed a bond with Miguel and they become closer.
